Position Type
This is an employee position with Noble Services, not an independent contractor role.
Employees will be paid through payroll, with applicable deductions made in accordance with legal requirements. Work will be assigned based on company projects and scheduling needs.
Scope of Work
Employees will assist with:
Sauna builds
Barn and outbuilding construction
Fence construction
General carpentry and site work
Other construction-related projects through Noble Services
Work will vary depending on the project.

1. Experience & Independence
Must have some prior construction experience either on the job or in the classroom
Capable of completing tasks with limited supervision
Able to interpret direction and carry out work without constant step-by-step instruction

Able to learn new construction methods quickly
Adjust to changing site conditions
Solve problems independently and communicate when needed
3. Productivity & Work Pace
Maintain a consistent and efficient pace
Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks

Communicate clearly and professionally
Maintain a respectful and clean job site
Represent Noble Services in a positive and professional manner

Work carefully and efficiently
Help ensure the final product is built properly and to a high standard
Tools & Equipment
Employees are expected to provide their own basic tools, including:
Impact driver + Various bits
Drill
Hammer
Tape measure
Circular Saw
Sawzall
Other basic hand tools standard to the trade.
Tools such as Mitre Saw, Table Saw, and other larger tools are a benefit.
Noble Services will supply specialty tools and project-specific equipment where required.
Safety Requirements
Employees are expected to work safely and responsibly at all times.
Required personal protective equipment includes:
Steel-toe boots
Eye protection
Ear protection
Work gloves
Work-appropriate clothing and gear
A site-specific safety orientation will be provided, and acknowledgment of safety requirements must be signed prior to starting work.
All work must be performed in accordance with applicable Alberta construction safety standards and company expectations.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and ability. Depending on experience you can make between $20-$40 an hour to start. There’s room to grow above that.
Paid through company payroll
Hours and workload may vary depending on project volume, season, and scheduling needs
