Inside the walls, high-performance mineral wool (Rockwool-style) insulation helps the space hold heat and handle moisture, while durable exterior siding protects against Calgary’s freeze–thaw cycles and harsh sun. Every joint, layer, and fastener is chosen so Vitalis can live outdoors year-round without feeling flimsy or disposable.

The result is a sauna that feels grounded and permanent in your yard—but is still built in a way that allows it to move with you if life changes and you decide to bring Vitalis along to your next home.

Vitalis is designed to glow. A modern glass door and generous window pull natural light into the space during the day, and at night the warm interior lighting turns the cube into a soft lantern in your backyard.

From the bench, you’re not staring at a blank wall—you’re looking out into your own landscape: snow drifting past the glass, summer evenings fading into blue, kids playing in the yard. You stay in the heat and quiet, while the outside world becomes a moving picture.

The glass is chosen and positioned to balance connection and privacy—enough view to feel spacious, but not so much exposure that you feel on display. It’s a small space that never feels cramped or closed in.

Because Vitalis is fully insulated and properly sealed, the heater doesn’t have to fight against the weather. A quality electric sauna heater is sized to the actual insulated volume of the room, so it heats up quickly and stays stable without constantly running at max output.

Lighting is gentle and indirect—bright enough to read or talk, dim enough to feel calm and cocooned.
