1. Draw the barn

Start with a common size or draw sections directly on the grid. Add attached wings or roof-only lean-tos. Everything snaps to 1 ft so area and perimeter stay predictable.

Drag a section to move it. Drag its square corner handle to resize. Covered lean-tos add structure and roofing but do not count as enclosed floor area.

Overall bounds-

Pricing uses the union of overlapping sections. If a wing overlaps the main barn, the overlap is counted only once—so adding a section cannot accidentally double-charge floor area.

2. Build the interior

Click a space to add it, then drag and resize it on the plan. Tap empty floor to select that building section. Four corner resize handles appear so you can move the exterior walls directly from the interior plan. Drag empty floor to pan. Horse stalls start at 10×10, 12×12 or 14×14 and can be resized freely.

Openings are placed directly on the plan. Select one to move it, resize its width, or change its actual opening height/type.

Overall interior finish package

Choose one starting finish level for the whole interior. Selecting a room still lets you override that room type; the override applies to every room of that same type.

Adjacent horse stalls automatically receive a shared-partition credit. This prevents a row of stalls from being priced as if every stall needed four completely independent walls.

3. Exterior, roof & openings

Exterior prices are based on the correct quantity: siding uses net wall area, roofing uses roof area, and trim upgrades use linear footage rather than multiplying the whole wall area.

Large covered side roofs should be drawn as a roof-only lean-to in Step 1 instead of using an oversized “overhang” multiplier.

Windows & doors

Doors and windows are now placed and resized directly on the floor plan in Step 2. Their actual opening area reduces siding quantity automatically.

4. Structure, floor & utilities

These options control the construction scope. Interior room prices are credited where the whole-building package already pays for the same slab or insulation.
