In Latin, Somnium means “dream.” For us, it represents more than just a name — it’s the feeling we wanted to capture in our newest sauna design. The Noble Somnium is a modern, fully insulated outdoor sauna built to bring warmth, calm, and connection into the heart of Calgary homes.
Our vision was simple: create a sauna that feels like an escape, yet belongs perfectly in your own backyard. Not a prefab box. Not a kit. But a handcrafted structure that looks and feels as good as it performs — elegant lines, thoughtful materials, and insulation that stands up to the coldest Alberta nights.

From Concept to Creation
Every Noble sauna begins with a design challenge. For the Somnium, that challenge was balance — modern design meets traditional warmth.
We started with a compact 6x8 frame — ideal for smaller yards or urban spaces — and layered it with thoughtful details: a full glass door, a gentle side window to bring in natural light, and soft interior illumination to set the mood. With the porch and cover it is a complete 8x8
Inside, the Somnium’s bench spans the back wall in a single, smooth line — minimalist, functional, and comfortable. The walls are lined with hand-selected cedar or pine, chosen not just for its beauty but for its natural durability and aroma. Every surface feels deliberate, calm, and grounded.
Built for Real Winters
Calgary’s weather demands more than aesthetics — it requires engineering. That’s why every Noble Somnium will be fully insulated using 2x4 wall construction, vapor barriers, and precision-sealed joints.
Our goal? A sauna that heats quickly, holds temperature efficiently, and feels solid in every season. Whether it’s -30°C outside or a mild spring evening, the Somnium stays ready — warm, efficient, and welcoming.

The Noble Somnium is currently in its final design phase, with launch and early builds scheduled for Spring 2025.
